Hi Brent,
Thanks again for your service!🫡
Re: DO YOU HAVE SOME GOOD IDEAS FOR GREEN FUNDS OR
INTERNATIONAL EQUITIES THAT THE EC COULD LOOK AT?
OUR ADVISORS ARE INSTRUCTED TO INVEST CONSERVATIVELY
IN LOWER RISK STOCKS.
What about U.S. Treasury Bonds? Now at 5% return on long term notes. However, if we are going into an inflationary cycle the % return shrinks in real value.
I’m a novice at investing (although I did ask my Morgan Stanley IRA manager to invest in gold a couple years ago, which was a good hunch on my part (albeit gold had a dark side, especially in third world of countries.) One well-known economist, Milton Friedman said way back: gold is more of an emotional experience than a real investment:)
What do our seasoned Fellowship members—as individual investors say about Green-oriented Funds?

I believe, from the public eye’s perspective, The Fellowship—as non-profit social organization with a religious purpose— should heed the Midwayer admonition about Christianity(so-called):
195:10.19 (2086.5) If Christianity could only grasp more of Jesus’ teachings, it could do so much more in helping modern man to solve his new and increasingly complex problems.
195:10.20 (2086.6) Christianity suffers under a great handicap because it has become identified in the minds of all the world as a part of the social system, the industrial life, and the moral standards of Western civilization; and thus has Christianity unwittingly seemed to sponsor a society which staggers under the guilt of tolerating science without idealism, politics without principles, wealth without work, pleasure without restraint, knowledge without character, power without conscience, and industry without morality.

Anyway, this is my two cents worth.
