Hi Anthony,

I thought the online Zoom GC meeting was a splendid success. I think we should do more like this, while also striving to meet in person yearly in conjunction with a conference.

Jeff did a great job. David Schlundt provided us with a fantastic way to vote that he learned from his job at Vanderbilt. Many resources, like the survey results, and power point presentations, could be shared well with everyone via screen share.

Love...Paula

Hi Jill,

Many thanks for volunteering to be Secretary of the Fellowship and for sharing these draft minutes with Society leaders. I like your formatting style! I was unable to view G Suite on Google but trust my request(s) will soon allow access.

It would appear — from a distance — that the Zoom meeting was a success …? I would like to hear from any of you GCers that didn’t think so. This has been an ongoing request from many of us through the years — especially those of us coming long distances (AK) and spending large amounts of money to meet in person — that we host at least one meeting a year remotely. We haven’t seen a full house (36 attendees) in many years. Often times 27 was an achievement and back in the day this was an impediment to passing any amendment/motion needing a 3/4 majority.

I have a couple questions and one submission that I’ll be sending along to Geoff and Larry (Mr SecGen).

My quick comments/feedback:
It would be nice to see the ad-hoc committees listed with the chairperson’s name attached.
I like where the Organizational Guidance Committee is headed and trust that Society voices will be further involved going forward.
Nice to see that one of our TDA’18 resolutions is gaining some traction — Area Coordinator/Field Worker Program.

Also, Jill, concerning the census, please send a reminder out on this list at the beginning of January so that we can “officially” submit our numbers by the end of that month's deadline. This might encourage more current data …?

Thanks again!
